Nottingham Triathlon Club is a British Triathlon affiliated club catering for all ages and abilities.
Awarded East Midlands Triathlon Club of the Year in 2022 and 2024 as well British Triathlon’s Bronze TriMark award in 2019. The club runs a wide range of training sessions for both adults and juniors with all training led by British Triathlon qualified coaches.
We run coached swim, bike and run sessions throughout the week and, whether you are a beginner wanting to train for your first triathlon or an experienced triathlete looking to improve your performance, our coaches can help you to achieve your goals.

🏊♂️🚴♀️🏃♀️ SARA’S SEASON REVIEW
What an amazing season for Sara! 💚 After joining NTC as a runner, she took the plunge and tried her first triathlon this year — and she’s now completely in love with the sport! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
We’re celebrating our members and looking back at the season through their eyes — the races, achievements, challenges, favourite moments and how being part of NTC has helped along the way.
1️⃣ What have been your highlights of the season?
I joined NTC in August 2024 and my husband made me promise we were just going to run — no swim, no bike, just running! 😂
After volunteering at Outlaw in May and with all the encouragement from the team, I broke my promise and tried a sprint triathlon. I’m now completely in love with it!
2️⃣ What achievement are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my PMA Sprint result, especially as it was officially my first one. I had so much fun and came away with an age-group win! 🏆
3️⃣ How has NTC helped you this season?
NTC has given me confidence and support, and that encouraged me to challenge myself.
I was able to borrow a bike to ease myself in, with Chris literally teaching me how to use the gears! 😂 Before PMA, Vincent helped me get the bike ready.
I also got back into swimming and found amazing people to push me. All the advice, encouragement and support have been priceless. NTC members are amazing people! 💚
4️⃣ What do you wish you had known before joining the club?
If I could go back in time, I would have joined sooner!
I was scared I wouldn’t fit in, but I now know that NTC is extremely welcoming and made up of beautiful people. ❤️
5️⃣ What would you say to someone thinking about joining NTC?
Just come and try one session — we’ll show you why you’ll have a great time with us! 🙌
