Friends that train together, play well together!

Some of our juniors enjoyed some water fun this morning at Active Nottingham.

If you or your child (aged 8+) would like to have a go at triathlon - perhaps after being inspired after the Commonwealth Games successes over the weekend, email hello@nottinghamtri.com to organise a free taster session.

Now this is an achievement!

John Moore (club member, aged 52), Ellie Fretwell (22) and Anna Luff (34) have together swam the Channel!

What made it extra tough was that they started out as a team of 5 (work friends) then 1 guy failed the medical and another pulled out a week before. So just left the team of 3 to give it a go.

To add to this, both Ellie and John suffered with severe sea sickness between the swims. So they were really running on empty (literally) by the end.

They completed it in a very respectable 13 hours 54 mins which they are very proud of - rightly so!

Nottingham Tri Club are also very proud of you πŸ‘ πŸŠπŸ»β€β™€οΈ
